Redstone Rewards Campaign

Overview

The Redstone rewards campaign allowed users to earn RED tokens by supplying cbBTC on SparkLend (Ethereum Mainnet). The campaign started on April 10 at 15:00 UTC and ended on Sept 4, 2025.

Reward Distribution

Rewards were distributed based on these key factors:

  • Weekly distributions of 200,000 RED tokens.

  • Rewards accrued every second based on the user's share of total cbBTC deposits.

  • Per second reward share was calculated using this formula:

    User Share = (cbBTC Supplied - cbBTC Borrow Amount / cbBTC Liquidation Threshold) / Total cbBTC Supplies

  • Borrowing cbBTC reduced the reward allocation

  • Looping (repeated borrowing and supplying cbBTC) was not rewarded

  • Distributions occurred once per week (Every Monday), starting April 21st, 2025.

  • Users have 3 months from issuance to claim their rewards. Rewards not claimed within 3 months expire and cannot be claimed.
