SPK Token
SPK is the native governance and staking token of Spark. Designed with a long-term vision for sustainability, decentralization, and ecosystem alignment, SPK enables protocol governance, protocol security via staking, and reward distribution to participants.
Governance
SPK is the governance token of Spark. SPK is used for signaling and sentiment checks via Snapshot voting. For more information on Spark Governance, please see the Spark Governance page.
Staking
SPK can be staked and, in the future, staked SPK may be used to validate and secure products and services in the Spark ecosystem. Staked SPK earns rewards in the form of Spark Points. Symbiotic is also rewarding SPK stakers with points through its protocol. You can read more about staking here.

You can earn SPK by depositing USDS into Sky Token Rewards at sky.money.
Has SPK been airdropped yet?
Yes, the SPK token has been airdropped. The final claiming date for pre-farming airdrop, and airdrop was on December 17th, 2025. Do not trust any other websites or platforms claiming to offer SPK tokens or access to claims. Beware of scammers and false SPK tokens.

You can bridge SPK between networks using Stargate. Confirm you are using the correct token addresses.

What will the total supply of SPK be?
10 billion SPK tokens were minted at genesis.* 35% of the SPK tokens were allocated to the Spark ecosystem to support the growth of Spark. The Sky ecosystem will receive 65% of the genesis tokens, which Sky will distribute through a 10 year SPK farming campaign. More details on this below.
